Review of Similar Practices

The objective of this project was to enhance the management capacities of resources and biodiversity in Lake Ohrid, with a strong focus on subregional cooperation and experience exchange.

For this purpose, visits were made to sites that apply and operate similar practices. A working meeting was held to discuss and draw conclusions from these visits for the development of the restoration plan for Drilon. A visit to Shkodër, Galiçicë, and a one-day meeting in Tushemisht took place during the period from October 5th, 2013, to October 25th, 2013. All these activities helped familiarize the project participants with the working methods for the realization of the restoration project in Drilon. Necessary conclusions were drawn for the development of the restoration and management plan for Drilon.
