Nature Education Trail – Prespa e Madhe
During the educational nature guide, we explored the fantastic trails surrounding Great Prespa, getting to know more closely the landscape, biodiversity, and the stories this ecosystem holds. The route through autumn forests, the breathtaking views of the lake, and the moments of learning in nature made this day special and inspiring for all participants.
Life around water carries not only natural wealth, but also valuable cultural heritage, such as the Sterjo Spasse House Museum, which we visited during the guide and which preserves the collective memory of the communities around the lake.
The project is implemented within the framework of Green-AL and, together with our partners GO2 Albania and Discover Pogradec, we believe this is an important opportunity to strengthen the connection between people and nature and to preserve our water resources for future generations.
The Green-AL project “Support to Civil Society Organizations 2024–2027” is funded by Sida with funds from the Swedish Government and implemented by Co-PLAN, in cooperation with VIS Albania and COSV – Cooperazione per lo Sviluppo.
