Transformation of the Spring in the Center of Tushemisht
By evaluating Tushemisht as a location with very unique water and natural values, the project aims to restore and preserve them in the best possible environmental way. The goal is to transform Tushemisht into a tourist village that is not only natural but also cultural. We presented the project and followed up on the works with the municipality, and today, this project is a reality.
As an important part of this project, we emphasized the installation of an artistic figure that has a strong connection with Tushemisht and will significantly contribute to its tourist character. We conceptualized, proposed, engaged in discussions, and closely followed the creation of the statue of the popular character Teto Ollga, portrayed by the People’s Artist Violeta Manushi. The statue was realized by artists Sadik Spahia and Vasillaq Kolevica.
Our association not only led the implementation of the project for the reconstruction of the roads in the village of Tushemisht, incorporating both traditional and tourist elements, but also took on the responsibility of organizing the inauguration of these works, as well as publishing and raising awareness among tourists, visitors, and especially the residents of Tushemisht.
These publications and awareness-raising efforts have had a significant impact on preserving the environment and developing tourism in Tushemisht, with noticeable results observed in the first year.
