Pogradec, Albania

The area is located in the southeastern part of Albania, in the district of Pogradec, at an altitude of 800 meters above sea level and only 200 meters west of the village of Selca e Poshtme. Due to its historical significance and cultural heritage, this site does not deserve to be forgotten or left exposed to natural elements and human impact. The ruins of Illyrian cities from the 4th and 3rd centuries BC are found on the upper part of the hill. At the beginning of the 3rd century BC, this area became the center of the Illyrian region of Dassaretia. In modern times, the burial sites have attracted the attention of many curious individuals, resulting in significant damage and the removal of historically valuable artifacts. Quite a few visitors have shown interest in seeing this place.

For this reason, the protection, reconstruction, and enrichment with contemporary elements are proposed, in order to preserve and enhance its architectural values.
