ME STIL: Exhibition and Presentation of Final Works

As part of the mission of the ME STIL project, which aims to raise public awareness about the impact of the fast fashion industry and its environmental, social, and cultural consequences, the project’s final closing event was held.

The event marked the culmination of a collaborative and creative process through which students explored different ways of communicating and addressing issues related to the rapid consumption of fashion. As a result of this process, a conceptual installation was presented, conceived as an artistic and thought-provoking intervention for a public space in the city of Tirana, with the aim of encouraging public dialogue and awareness around this phenomenon.

The event also featured the exhibition of 20 final posters created by participating students. Through diverse visual approaches, these works addressed the impact of fast fashion, contemporary consumer culture, and the need for more sustainable alternatives.

Another important outcome of the project was the production of a booklet, documenting the three workshops, the creative process, key discussions, and the students’ final works. The publication serves both as a record of the project’s journey and as a tool for continuing to share the knowledge, ideas, and messages developed throughout the initiative.

Through these outcomes, ME STIL seeks to contribute to greater public awareness of the hidden costs of fast fashion and to encourage more responsible, conscious, and sustainable approaches to clothing and consumption.
